InstructionFor this assignment, you are to write an essay focused on characterizing a specific aquatic or terrestrial ecosystem. An ecosystem is defined as an area that contains organisms (i.e., bacteria, protists, fungi, plants, and animals) interacting with one another and their non-living environment. Aquatic ecosystems include, but are not limited to, ponds, lakes, rivers, streams, the open ocean, the ocean floor, and estuaries. Terrestrial ecosystems include, but are not limited to, the rainforest, taiga, tundra, boreal forest, temperate deciduous forest, chaparral, desert, and grassland. You are to choose one ecosystem and discuss what makes it unique. Be sure to include examples of the organisms that live there and its abiotic (nonliving) characteristics. In addition, post at least one picture of the ecosystem you choose to discuss.
