Project Summary: For this assignment, students must practice formatting direct quotes, paraphrases, and bibliographic citations in the MLA style using the lecture notes and the provided samples. The sample packet contains five different research source samples, all of which are scholarly journal articles. To complete this assignment, students must complete the following work in the provided worksheet for all five sample sources: Choose a direct quote from the text and write an appropriate MLA-formatted in-text citation Paraphrase that direct quote and write an appropriate MLA formatted in-text citation Write an MLA-formatted bibliographic citation All important information needed to create the citations can be found on the page.
