However, many are not sure of the need or really what the term unionizing is all about. Your director has requested for you to hold a meeting for all staff that reviews the historical evolution of labor unions within the United States. Your presentation will be structured to inform and explain the union movement and to address both the benefits and issues with a union shop. The audience will be staff members and line or production employees so you will need to be neutral and remain unbiased for or against a union. Develop a PowerPoint presentation in which you analyze the rationale for, and the evolution of, unions in America, including the evolution of labor laws to coincide with union progress. If possible, support your viewpoint with local data. Think about who your target audience is and how your topic affects them. Support your presentation with at least five (5) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included. The required length of the PowerPoint Presentation option for this assignment is 12-15 slides (with a separate reference slide).
