Project Summary: You are a primary researcher. Select a topic of interest. Form a research question that you will ask 20 people. The question should generate a range of quantitative data. Required: 1. List your raw data results in a column in Excel. 2. Construct a relative frequency distribution of your data. Remember each class should have the same width, for example classes of 0 to 5, 6 to 10, 11 to 15 etc. 3. Using Excel, calculate the mean and standard deviation of your distribution and interpret their meanings. 4. Calculate a 95 percent confidence interval for the mean of your distribution using the t-distribution and your sample standard deviation. 5. Comment on your results – what have you observed?
