Project Summary: Project: Green chemistry is an important theme in CHEMI 1105. The twelve principles of green chemistry are described on the inside cover of the course textbook. Each chapter ends with an article that links concepts from the chapter to green chemistry initiatives. The project assignment is to research and report on a green chemistry initiative, undertaken within the past 20 years, by an industry in general, a specific company, a field (such as medicine or education), or as a legislative act (law).
