Project Summary: Read and review the SANS article, “OPM vs. APT: How Proper Implementation of Key Controls Could Have Prevented a Disaster.” The article states that OPM could have mitigated the damage significantly with by implementing these strategies: (1) mature risk management program; (2) effective log analysis; and (3) a fully deployed multi-factor authentication mechanism.
