InstructionThis paper is to be a synthesis of what you have learned all semester about health promotion practice in Canada as it applies to a specific target group. Students are to choose a specific target group for health promotion practice in Canada. Integrating as much course theory as relevant, students will research and discuss contemporary health promotion practice with this group on the chosen health issue (for example, health promotion efforts regarding HIV/AIDS with HIV+ youth), discussing and critiquing practice in relation to course theory. Students will also provide relevant current statistics and spend some time discussion the health context of this particular group – why health promotion is necessary for this group/behaviour/health issue, why it is effective, what change is being supported, as well as any critique based on course theory that applies to these efforts. A minimum of 5 peer-reviewed sources (not including course texts and readings) should be used to ground your work
