Is social media helping or hurting our mental health?
Read the research linked below. Then, do some research on your own. Based on your research and personal experience, take a position and prepare an editorial, also known as an op-ed, about the effects of social media on mental health.
An op-ed is a concise, persuasive piece of writing, and your goal is to convince your readers that your point of view is the correct one.
In your op-ed:
Quote at least two sources - scholarly research or news articles - in defense of your position.
First-person is acceptable, but not required.
Your editorial should be between 750 and 1,000 words
