Write a self-reflexive analysis of a song's lyrics that reflect ideas of social change. You can choose any song from any genre and time period. The lyrics must communicate or call attention to any social dilemma(s) such as racism, sexual violence, freedom, war, suicide, justice, etc. The song does not have to include these words (though it can) but it must draw attention to social, cultural, and/or political issues.

The task is to identify a song that via a poetic, creative, rhythmic manner conveys to the public or its audience ideas about social problems and social change. Then, write a 750-800 word essay describing the following: How do the lyrics from verse to verse and/or section to section describe a social issue/dilemma and offer ways to think about social change? What is the public call that the song is doing? Then, select a few (at least 3) phrases, words and/or verses and explain with your own interpretation the artistic intention to communicate a social-cultural problem or issue
