Chapter 5 in the Thresholds Concepts book discusses feminist praxis. Why do multiracial people internalize others' perceptions of their racial identities, embracing those perceptions as their own? What are ways that people challenge the perceptions of others? 3) What is a way to dismantle racism, while maintaining space for people to preserve their racial identities and heritage? 4) How do the respondents in Chapter 6 of The Borders of Race discuss their understanding of race and ethnicity? How do their experiences illustrate intersectionality? Provide an example of each person discussed in this chapter and provide a citation to the example. 5) You have been tasked with creating a flyer to advertise this Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies course.
