Write an original poem that is a minimum of 8-10 lines in length.
You must use some of the poetic devices mentioned in the previous lessons. This should include at least two sound devices, 2 instances of imagery, and at least 2 uses of figurative language.
List the devices/techniques you used immediately after they occur within your composition. [Example: Jeremiah judges George of the Jungle (alliteration).]. The technique you list needs to be specific, not general (so do not say "figurative" or "literal").
Write a brief paragraph (75-150 words) describing the meaning and/or significance of your poem. You must explain some of your use of poetic devices.
Formatting and Requirements:
Heading, header, title, and 12pt Times New Roman or Arial font
A poem of at least 8-10 lines
Poetic devices are used (sound devices, imagery, and figurative language)
