This discussion is focused on your reading in Chapter 17 Proposals. opic: RFP Opportunity Title: Writing Proposals – Ch. 17 (14) Thread: Go to www.fbo.gov and choose ONE RFP, or “opportunity”, as the government calls them. Write a short summary explaining exactly what work the federal agency or military wants done and How they want the information presented to win the job, as described in this RFP. Respond individually to the topic by Wednesday, review and substantially discuss at least TWO other students' comments on this topic to complete this discussion. Please address your colleague by name so I can see whose post you are responding to. This assignment requires that you write in a professional writing style (clearly, concisely and completely) in sentences and paragraphs. SECOND ASSIGNMENT ----------------- REMINDER: WK 12 Mod 12—Proposal Assignment—Due 19 April Proposals are persuasive documents, and the structure of proposals, as illustrated in Chapter 17, are standardized. ALL proposal Options for the Proposal assignment must have these Section Headings and elements: Overview, Background, Problem Statement, Need, and Scope. Proposed Plan: Methods, Costs, Feasibility, and Personnel. Conclusion that reflects the arguments throughout the proposal. Please review the proposal assignment and Grading Rubric carefully; then consider the options for writing your proposal assignment. An example proposal is available in the WK 12 MOD 12 content module. NOTE: Two assignments are associated with Week 12 Module 12 and Chapter 17: 1.
