surveymonkey.com https://www.surveymonkey.com/ allows users to prepare surveys of 10 questions each for free and receive up to 100 responses. The use of these sites as learning tools for understanding questionnaire construction and the concept of survey research is invaluable. For this project, in not less than 850 words and in APA format, register with Surveymonkey.com and design a 5-item questionnaire that you propose to administer to a sample of students in the class. The topic is “perceptions of crime.” Post the link to the survey along with a summary of why you are interested in these questions. Make sure you provide the link to the Surveymonkey.com 5-item questionnaire which you created, and provide a rationale for the question format for each item along with the advantages and disadvantages of the formats selected. Ensure to provide an explanation of what aspects of the “perceptions of crime” topic is addressed by your questionnaire, and links the item numbers from the questionnaire to each dimension measured by the 5-item instrument.

  • Please consider the following constructive feedback about your survey questions. 1. The use of only open-ended questions will lead to lower response rates, coding errors and more expensive survey costs. I strongly encourage the use of closed-ended questions. 2. I am not sure of the relevance of question #1. It would be better stated as, "How much criminal activity occurs in your neighborhood?". 3. Questions #2 - #4 can't be accurately answered, because respondents don't know the answers to them. 4. Question #5 depends on the answer to Question #4. Since they can't answer #4 because of lack of knowledge, the same situation maintains for Question #5.
    User_17137 | Apr 18, 2020, 13:55 PM
  • Okay, I will fix it
