make at least 5 paper mobius sculptures, take pictures and email them to me. For those who were unable to attend class, it is a simple project based on how maquettes help artists problem solve, like sketching in 3D. It will give you an appreciation of how this artist handles making large free form sculpture.
You will need paper, scissors and tape:
Cut paper into thinnish long strips. Twist and curl up paper in an uneven manner, creating a form that has various planes. Tape the two ends together as a mobius is 1 continuous piece.
