Three variables are required that you think will affect PAIN MEASURES. In class, we did a blue screen, a winter scene, and a fire scene to see how temperature-based visual stimuli affected pain perception (using a Cold Presser experiment). For this project, you can use any variables you want, as long as you have some research to back up a hypothesis. For example, some students are doing projects to see how different types of music affect pain or how difficult cognitive tasks affect pain. Therefore, write a research-based hypothesis and 3 independent variables that can be used for the hypothesis about how those variables will affect pain, that you think will affect pain measures.
