According to the WHO (World Health Organization) vaccines prevented at least 10 million deaths between 2010 and 2015. The global push to end polio is almost complete, with 3 remaining countries still working to eradicate this disease. Children need vaccinations to protect them from diseases that result in death. Over the years there has been a great parental debate over "Should I vaccinate or should I not?" Only you can decide for yourself if you should vaccinate your child. I am a firm advocate for vaccinations!! Are you?
Click on this link http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/vaccine-decision/prevent-diseases.html to read more about how vaccines prevent disease.
This week your assignment will be to use the following websites to research a vaccine and prepare an abstract. You will need to submit your abstracts in the dropbox provided as an attached Word document.
