I have another quick assignment if anyones interested in $20? Only thing is I need by 10pm!!! Choose ONE of the following questions: minimum 250 1. Discuss how race is more a sociological classification than a biological one. Provide situations in which an individual's race may be mistaken or taken for granted. In the United States the key stratifying variable is race; in Europe it is SES (socioeconomic status). Why do you think there is this difference? 2. How does Henslin define 'elderly?' As you see it, at what age are people no longer young? What is it, specifically, about this age that makes a person "old"? What are some of the social factors in the United States that have shaped your ideas about the elderly? How often do you think about growing old and, when you do, do you think about it in a positive or negative light? Finally, if aging were eliminated tomorrow by advances in technology, what do you think would be the perfect age to be, and remain at, for the rest of your life? Why? and 1) Find and post 1 piece of supplemental material (i.e. website, article, book, video, etc - NOT wikipedia) relevant to this week's readings (see below for more detail). minimum 150 words, your basically finding something related to what you've chose to discuss above.
