This packet contains the following: • Notes on reviewing some math skills and graphing practice • HW 1 • HW 1 answers • Lab 1 Please go through the notes as slowly as you need to. If you’ve had other science classes, much of it may be review, in which case you’ll just want to skim though to be sure you don’t miss anything. You may turn in your work as you finish it or all at once. Every week, all the work will be due on the Sunday that follows the week. Work must be turned in by midnight. Be sure to send it at the latest by early in the evening, though. You cannot assume emails will go through immediately. Some take a surprisingly long time to come through.   • There is something off about the lab, though. The chi square values, or x^2, are way too high. Nowhere in the this lab should the chi square values be over 3.0. Did you have trouble understanding the lab? Be sure you turned on the values icon because that will help you place the brown circles accurately. Also, know that data that correlates well have a low chi square and a high r^2. Some of your answers did not reflect this.
