MLA and Critical Thinking Assignment There are two purposes to this assignment: Demonstrate MLA formatting. I will comment on your MLA formatting on this assignment. After that, MLA formatting will count for ten points on each of your papers and it will just be hit or miss. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you don't. Practice the steps to critical thinking. Please find your favorite quote (or google one). In the first paragraph type the quote, tell me where it came from, and what initially drew you to the quote. In the second paragraph identify the topics/ideas that it addresses and say why the topic/ideas are "vital". In the third paragraph tell us what it means to you (well-reasoned conclusion) and tell me why (evidence from the quote). Finally, in the fourth paragraph talk a little bit about how this quote challenges or confirms your assumptions (critical thinking step 4). There is no length limit to this assignment, but make sure that it is thorough.
