Instruction
1. Is it possible to implement a multidisciplinary approach (i.e., the convergence of BCT, Cloud Computing, AI, and Big Data Analytics) to combat fraud and avoid counterfeit, especially in the healthcare industry? (e.g., When an outbreak like Covid-19 is manifested, how can BCT help in efficiently tracing diverse medical supplies and equipment so they will arrive at the proper destination?)
2. BCT is characterized by immutability. However, in the article written by Marchant, M., Parker, M., Ingraham, A., Choi, W., Sreerambhatla, R., Metcalf, D., and McFarlane, C. states: “With the growing consumerization of healthcare, individuals are being empowered to grant selected or total access of their data to authorized providers, care teams, and institutions, which is a critical consideration with the implementation of TEFCA” (TEFCA stands for Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement). With that said, if a patient wants his/her medical records to be deleted, (i.e., Opt-out) the system developers must honor this request based upon GDPR (i.e., EU General Data Protection Regulation), and inclusively provide modules regarding consent management. How can BCT and GDPR be reconciled since they are both taking separate paths (i.e. , also called “collision course” by some developers)?
