I need someone to look at my empirical research paper, and fix it for me. I have posted the paper rubric below and my paper attamchement. It is for Biostatistics class. I know that I only need to use one graph from the SPSS but I am not sure which one is better to use, and I need to make sure that I talk about and comment about the graph. Please feel free to add or remove anything in order to improve my paper. I need someone to work on my project who has previous experiences in this. Paper RubricEach section of your paper should have a separate heading in bold (as seen below) Abstract: One paragraph single-spaced that summarizes your study and results include p values (first page). Introduction (1paragraph): Clearly state your research question/s (bold type). Explain why you chose this topic and why it is important. Literature Review (2 paragraphs): Please find 2 empirical articles (peer reviewed journals) that use data to answer hypotheses that are related to your topic. They do not need to be identical; for example, you are interested in gender differences and GPA. Any article that examines gender differences in education achieved, cognitive development, or academic performance is acceptable. You should report results of each article in one paragraph. Please use APA paper and citation style: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ Methods (1 paragraph): Here you will discuss how you collected data, general description of your sample, and a list of variables and measures (how you measured outcome variable) in your data set. You will also discuss your study design. That is, did you use random sampling, convenience sampling, etc. You will give an overview of the statistical analyses you intend to use and why these are the appropriate choice for your question. For example, if you take a before and after survey you should indicate that a dependent sample t-test is the appropriate analysis because it measures change over time in mean scores on the same individual. Results (1 paragraph): This paragraph should be very brief. No comments or conjecture. Just state the null and research hypothesis, actual test statistic, CIs, and whether your findings are significant (p value). Also, be sure to include the SPSS output (copy-paste into the body of your paper) of the results that you have paraphrased. You should provide a graph that illustrates ethnic distribution or some other attribute you find interesting (gender, outcome, smoking status, etc.) Limitations (1 paragraph): This section will include the study limitations (of which there are many). You should try and be as comprehensive and thoughtful as possible. Show that you know why your results could have been biased due to sampling methodology, study design, etc. Conclusion/Discussion (1 paragraph): Clearly restate whether you have significant findings. Do your results confirm (or refute) what the authors of the two articles (in literature review) found? You may wish to let the reader know if these surprised you or not.is it what you expected to find? YOUR GRADE DOES NOT DEPEND ON WHETHER YOU REJECT THE NULL!! In a few sentences suggest the implications of your findings.how could this information be useful to others? Public health? Quality-of-life? etcwhichever is most appropriate.
