Such acts involve protection of the environment, protection of small or upcoming businesses, and protection of individual rights, among other factors of importance to the economy that may not be regulated by the market forces (Kahn, 2008). From such an analysis, it is therefore evident that the government should be more involved in the activities of the economy due to the constantly emerging issues besides price, demand, and supply.
