This week's required reading looked at 10 benefits of green infrastructure. I would like you to choose one of these benefits and research a material(s), technology, or system that would provide a significant benefit to a building (commercial or residential). Then prepare a two-page paper using 12pt Times New Roman single space format with one space between paragraphs that: describes the item being researched, why it is green (embodied energy, recyclability, etc.), what item(s) it would/should replace, and how it aligns with the reading. Important format requirements! It is assumed that all submitted papers contain a cover page, a reference list, are free from simple spelling and grammar mistakes, and closely formatted to APA. Assignments that do not meet these requirements will lose additional points from those listed in the rubric. Section 1 Describes a product, material, technology, etc. that addresses one of the benefits of the reading. Section 2 Discusses why the items are green. Assess the recyclability and embodied the energy of the product. Section 3 Discusses the current item and why it would/should be replaced. Provides research supporting the need for the item discussed in the introduction (section 1). Section 4 Provides a summary of how the recommended item aligns with the ideas and goals of the required reading.
