4-5 pages research paper.

One of the greatest thing a leader can do to prevent or minimize a crisis is to spend a great deal of time planning and training. There are many tools to help prompt a leader to identify the climate in which they are operating in addition to potential issues. (To give you an example: PEST analysis (PEST has a bunch of other acronyms as well), Environmental Scans, Situational Awareness, etc.). Think outside the box on this assignment. These are not just things like "a chemical plant in town could blow up" but could include things like "If the law changes and requires all EMS personnel to wear Mickey mouse ears on every call" how could that have an impact on your agency? Using your current agency as the model, complete a scan and try to identify things that could affect your agency. After completion of that portion of the paper, pick one item and explain on how you identify the potential risk, what planning you would do to mitigate it, and how you would implement a plan to minimize any impact. THE RESEARCH PAPER SHOULD BE 4-5 pages (double-spaced, 12 Times Roman font, 1 inch margin on all edges. A minimum of three (3) references must be listed in the reference list of each paper. The writing assignments must follow APA Publication Manual guidelines and be free of typographical, spelling and grammatical errors. Use of critical and creative thinking skills are important. The assignment will consist of a title page, abstract, text (4-5 pages double spaced) and reference list. The 3-5 pages of text does not include the title page, abstract or reference list.
