In your first interview, you were offered the job as a quality manager overseeing process improvement. The agency hired you even though you have no experience in this type of job with the expectation that you are an individual with fresh ideas who is not wedded to the status quo. Now, the plan is s to have you, as the new quality manager, implement major changes within this organization, one with which you have no loyalties or biases. In a paper, respond to the following: Explain why cultural change in a government agency is so difficult to accomplish by those within the agency. Determine the degree to which resistance to change correlates to the degree of acceptance to cultural change.
