If you worked for a company that began advertising gender neutral bathrooms, what do you think would be the biggest impact on the organizational culture? I believe the biggest impact would be sharing a bathroom with the opposite sex. Older men and ladies who don't understand the gender neutral phase, have always had men and ladies restrooms. If there is a trans gender wanting to use the restroom then there should be a bathroom just for that person. So instead of have just two restrooms that say Mens and Ladies, there should be another one called Others. It isn't fair to people who are straight and identify as a man or a woman, to have to change the way they have always done things just because someone thinks that they should be able to use any bathroom they please. I have a couple gay friends that are guys. They have never complained about using the mens restroom. But, for them to change the rules and have a open facility that any person can use any bathroom, then they need to make it a one toilet bathroom where the bathroom door locks. I wouldn't want to be in the bathroom doing female things and a man come in and sit beside me. So, the biggest impact to me would be the age. An example of this would be if a older woman (lets say 55 years old), was in the restroom had her shirt pulled off changing clothes or fixing her bra, and a man comes walking in the bathroom. It is not fair or right for it to be a rule that she should hide or be terrified that this man may try something. This kind of behavior back in the day would be called sexual harassment. Once the issue is stated, gathering information from multiple sources to can be analyzed to find the root of the problem, consequences of the issue, and pain points that need to be addressed. These measures can be guides for an action plan to resolve concerns. The group needs to agree on how to implement new procedures so that there is not a re occurrence of the issue and handle instances if the problem begins to happen again. Evaluating the effort and outcome of the team building will again begin the cycle over to make needed adjustments and improvements. We have a LEAN boundary team at my work. A group of associates from various departments will study a work area and take notes on every process in the cell. This information finds inefficiency ,waste, and what is needed to improve the quality of work for employees and production. Gathering data on the amount of time each individual spends on tasks allows the group to determine if the work is balanced and how much can be produced during a shift. (Response 75 words)
