In this Discussion, you will locate a large dataset and identify who created it and for what purpose. All large datasets are not created equal. Some were created to answer very specific questions for local governmental organizations, while others are multi-faceted datasets with multiple questions and directions for study. Locate a large dataset. You can find information about large datasets that are publicly available in the text from Unit 3 as well as on the data.gov website.

Instruction
Once you locate a large publicly available dataset, provide the following: The permalink for the dataset. Name the governmental agency, university, or other organization that houses the dataset. What can the dataset be used to analyze? How was the dataset gathered? Identify any particular data ethics issues that may arise from using this dataset. What are the future implications? (Examples include: this is a recurring data collection process, or this is the only set in existence and will not be built upon in the future.)
