Is the Civil War truly over in the South? William A. Blair discusses how the Civil War was commemorated in the South from 1865 to 1915. Review his book "Cities of the Dead: Contesting the Memory of the Civil War in the South, 1865-1914." In your paper (2-3 pages of text), also discuss whether some of these problems still exist in the South today. Must use Chicago Manual of Style for references/citations. >Knowledge of U.S. History surrounding the Civil War is preferred.
