This essay will be a narrative—in essence, you will tell a story that contains WANT, ANTAGONISM, CONFLICT, and RESOLUTION. Show us a character who wants something, pursues it versus opposition—EXTERNAL, INTERNAL, TRANSACTIONAL—and then wins, loses, or fights to a draw.
Your essay will be graded on the compelling nature of your narrative, the details you choose to present, the structure and variation of your sentences, punctuation, and grammar.
Use the examples of Fitzgerald, Hemingway, and Bierce you have read.
1000 words, (in Times New Roman/12-point font, that comes to almost exactly three pages)
This must be your own composition. No help from outside sources, no footnoting, no works cited
