1. Write a 1-page project proposal for your final project that includes specifics such as audience, purpose, and value of the project. Final project: (unequal pay between men and women in the workplace) Include the following in your assignment: Audience: State your topic and indicate who your chosen audience is and why. What makes the person or group you’ve chosen your ideal reader? Purpose: What is the point of your project? Why should the reader care about your project? Value: What value does your project have for the community, workplace, or academic discourse community you are writing it for? This proposal must also include a short narrative that considers the role that workshopping ideas played in the construction of the final project proposal. Consider the feedback you received in Workshop Discussion 3 and articulate what you found to be the most useful about the process. Be sure to include specific feedback you used from your peers that helped to shape and mold your proposal. 2. Write 1.5 pages Provide your working thesis statement for the final project with an annotated bibliography containing at least five potential sources for the final project: Two sources must be scholarly sources. Two sources must be either state sources, local newspaper resources, or industry sources. One source must be a webpage. In your submission, include a brief paragraph that considers the role workshopping played in the construction of your thesis. Did your thesis change after participating in Workshop Discussion 4? If so, what changes did you make and why? How does your thesis align with, support, and satisfy the project’s objectives? 3. Write a 1- page paper discussing two sources you found using a library database (such EBSCOhost or ProQuest) that support and counter the argument you are making in your thesis.
