4. Description of the problem (Review of Literature): Provide some historical background about the problem/crime/issue. Describe in detail who commits these crimes and how they are committed. Describe the subcategories if any. You may want to provide case studies of the crimes that you have described. (State the number and type of sources that you used to get this information). Internet sources can be used to get statistical information, United Nations documents etc. You must have a minimum of 20 scholarly studies and 10 gov/non-gov reports reviewed. (1500 words)
5. Major theoretical issues (Review of literature): Describe why these crimes/problems occur. List and discuss the factors that relate to these crimes. Provide references from journal articles. (1250 words)
6. Analysis and Discussion: Focus on what you have learned from the literature. Give your opinion about the problem/crime/issue that you have described above. Provide illustrations and justifications for your statements. This discussion needs to be based on scientific information that you have gathered and must not reflect your personal bias. Existing Prevention policies and practices: Describe the measures that have been undertaken by local law enforcement agencies to control these crimes. Describe the international efforts have been undertaken so far, and any funding sources available to combat such crimes. Describe the role of UN and other international agencies in resolving any of these issues. Describe any international treaties, conferences, coalitions in dealing with such crimes /issues. Describe the implications of those efforts. Describe the problems including lack of cooperation among nationals, economic resources and ideological differences and others if any. (1000 words)
7.Conclusion and Recommendations: Describe the future of the problem. Will it get more serious? Discuss how the International Criminal Court and existing tribunals could help solve the problem in terms investigation, prosecution, border patrolling, etc. (500words)
