Part 1:Module 6: Discussion 1 - Questions for Module 6 Discussion Board (Please see attached powerpoint and utilize chapter 9 of the textbook, access to the textbook is also provided in the attached documents)
Within Module 6 and textbook chapter 9, you learned of additional ways to preemptively deal with disruptive students by using problem solving and student self-management. You also received an overview of the Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavior Implementation planning processes. To further expand your understanding as well as to examine this information from a different perspective, the following discussion questions are provided for Chapter 9 of your textbook:.

Provide a written response to each of the two discussion questions listed below:
*This chapter gives several examples of teacher-student dialogues that utilize Glasser’s seven steps for problem solving. Consider the following scenario and create your own dialogue, employing Glasser’s steps, indicating how you would respond to this situation. Include the approach you would take if the initial action plan were unsuccessful.
Brady and James are on the playground in line waiting to go on the slide. It is Brady’s turn to go up the steps to the slide, and James pushes him aside, skipping in front of him. Brady falls to the ground. James claims that Brady tripped and fell.

Part 2:Module 6: Assignment 1 - Conflict Resolution Scenarios (See docs 3-7)
Students will be presented with three (3) scenarios describing conflict within a classroom or school. For each scenario (three in total), the student will describe in detail how you as a teacher could successfully use conflict resolution strategies to resolve the issue.

Students will be presented with three (3) scenarios describing conflict within a classroom. For each scenario, the student will describe in detail how you as a teacher could successfully use conflict resolution strategies to resolve the issue. The response to each scenario must be at least one page in length. All submissions will be graded using the rubric provided. (See attachments for the rubric.) Your response to all of the Conflict Resolution scenarios should be edited for grammatical and spelling errors and adhere to the general writing style and formatting guidelines of the APA Manual (7th ed.).
Part 3:
In this course, you have learned about many strategies to lead you to success as a classroom manager. Select a new strategy (not one you used prior to this class) that you like the best and tell about it, including why it appeals to you and why you think it will make you a more successful classroom manager. Submit this for instructor feedback.
Instructions:Module 6: Assignment 2 - Reflection on Strategies (See Doc 8)
Select a strategy you have learned in this course that you like the best. Be sure it is NOT a strategy you have previously used.
Describe the strategy and tell why you like it and why you think its use will make you a more successful classroom manager.
Write a minimum of 3 to 4 paragraphs with these thoughts and submit it for instructor feedback.
