Instruction Introduction to Parents at Parent Night Each student will make PowerPoint Presentation about himself or herself (teacher introduction during the first “Open House” at school). Students should at minimum include the following components (see the attached scoring sheet): General introduction, Teacher’s academic/career background, Goals to be accomplished by teacher and students, Teacher’s philosophy of classroom management, Brief summary of classroom management procedure, Request for parental involvement (e.g., volunteer, monitor homework, etc.) Also prepare a Handout for Parents: Handout for parents are important so that parents do not have copy down important information about your email address. In addition, sometimes parent/guardian can’t attend. The handout should include important information that needs to make it home for those who couldn’t attend the “Parent Night” event Please upload both the PowerPoint and Handout into this assignment.
