  • Hi. Yes, the things are going fine. However, since you had not explicitly specified that the group for this one and the other one will be same as last one (depressed students), so I had not taken that assumption and had started working with a different group. But thankfully you posted this comment at the right time, and now I have made the required changes to the paper and have made it for the depressed students. See it below: This week you are to submit your 8 week counseling plan. Here are a couple of tips: Each week should have a clearly stated goal. If you are proposing a psycho-education/counseling group this is more clearly defined. If you are doing a mental health counseling group, you will need to refer to the targeted population and what is expected to emerge. For example, if you are leading a group whose members are diagnosed with depression or anxiety-what is the desired outcome? Reduction of symptoms (be specific using the DSM which defines the disorder with a cluster of symptoms). Additional knowledge and practice of self-care interventions such as mindfulness or exercise? These should have a measurable component which indicates progress or lack of progress toward the goal of the group.
