Accounting Codeification Report. (MUST HAVE ACCESS TO ACCOUNTING RESEARCH DATABASES) This is two seperate reports, 2-3pg single spaced each. You are Tracy Roberts (VP of Finance) writing two reports, one report is for Morgan Mickelson assuming they are a CPA. You must use accounting terminology including citaitions from the Accounting Standards Codefication ASC. Citation example = (ASU 2017-04) only codefication can be used. This is a goodwill impairment case. Questions 1-5 must be answered in essay format. Intro, body answering questions, conclusion. I have calculated most of the numbers needed. The second report portrays the same information as the first one except it should be written in language that any business person would be able to understand (not a CPA). It should not include citations. See attachments for more detail and the case requirements.

  • Hi, im confused which report is which? There should be one report written in CPA language that cites the codefication. The other should be written in normal language a manager would be able to understand and that one should not cite the codefication. Do you mind correcting that and if you want to make it easier, the report with codefication can have a table if that helps. Thank you.
