analysis paper with scholarly source and a work cited page MLA style.The cultural analysis paper must be at least 6 pages a cultural analysis paper, the task of this assignment is to choose one of the cultural studies readings (either During, Hall, Madison, Gramsci, or Turner) from the first six weekly modules of class and use it as a lens to analyze a cultural phenomenon of your choice. You will analyze your topic from the perspective of the text you choose, develop a thesis about your topic, and demonstrate your understanding of both. In cultural studies, as some of our readings have explored, what constitutes a cultural phenomenon can be any aspect of any given culture. These can be events, materials, and/or social patterns. These can be centered around any number of phenomena, such as ethnicity, geography, education, popular media, broadcast or online content, sports, national holidays, government legislation, music, political elections, public health crises, etc. This is an exercise in writing from a cultural studies perspective, so choose an aspect of a culture that you can justify as a phenomenon that is socially significant.
