  • The A paper presents a cogent analysis of or response to the text, elaborating that response with sufficient well-chosen examples and persuasive reasoning; conforms to an organizational pattern that facilitates reader understanding, using organizational patterns to demonstrate the relatedness of ideas and to enhance the power of the argument; displays a sophisticated style that reflects aptly chosen words and rhetorically effective sentence variety; exhibits mastery of the conventions of written English. this is the grading criteria.
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:19 AM
  • Alright
    committedwriter | Nov 07, 2020, 05:20 AM
  • Choose an overall claim from one of the five different claims discussed in Chapter 6 of your text as your main claim. Keep in mind that, though most student claims tend to be claims of value, there are others that may serve your needs better. Provide several sub-claims in an effort to support your argument.--You will inevitably touch upon claims of definition, cause, policy, etc. that will serve as focal points for supporting paragraphs. Utilize at least four different types of proofs to support those claims.—Remember you have access to many logical and emotional proofs to support your sub-claims. Though you will probably find yourself using some more than others, it is important to use a variety to make your paper more interesting and readable. this is part of the requirements
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:20 AM
  • Include at least six outside sources in support of your assertions. Keep in mind that you need to cite your sources, evaluate them for credibility, relevance, and timeliness, and that you should not let them stand on their own. In other words, you need to either explain them, comment on them, or both. This paper does not require you to give consideration to opposing views. Your final paper will have this requirement, and doing this will allow you to build onto your current paper. If you focus on your position in this paper, it will allow you to provide the necessary support for that side of the issue. 8-10 pages (not including a works cited page)—the longer your paper now, the less you have to write later. this is the other part
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:21 AM
  • clearly present your subject and purpose, provide background into the issue so that your audience understands the reason (exigence) for the issue and necessary components for understanding, and assert a clear, focused claim. You are making an argument and that will be found in the claim. The body will be composed of any number of paragraphs that provide support for the claim. You may need to use definitions, cause and effect analysis, facts, figures, analogies, narrative features, problem-solution patterns, deductive/inductive reasoning, etc. The conclusion will summarize your main points, reestablish your claim, and possibly provide us with some significance, call to action, or solution to the issue. The key is to leave your reading thinking after finishing your paper. Feel free to be creative, however, whatever you utilize to keep your reader invested in your paper, make sure it pertains to your issue.

  • the last one is how it should be structured sorry for the multiple messages it wouldn't allow me to send them all at once please confirm with me when you have read these.

  • I understand
    committedwriter | Nov 07, 2020, 05:25 AM
  • Where are the claims to choose one?
    committedwriter | Nov 07, 2020, 05:26 AM
  • Its supposed to be a part of a larger paper about technology abuse but this one needs to have a claim of value or claim of cause its up to you which route you go. this assignment is worth 150 points so please try hard on it
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:27 AM
  • If u look at the second instruction u have send me..it says "Choose an overall claim from one of the five different claims discussed in Chapter 6 of your text as your main claim" can I list the claims here so that I can choose
    committedwriter | Nov 07, 2020, 05:30 AM
  • you need to make your own claim, I was thinking something along the lines of claim of cause, we are addicted to technology because of this and these are the effects
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:31 AM
  • what he meant was the style of claim
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:31 AM
  • Okay. We can do with technology. It's like we are setting a hypothesis and then researching about it.
    committedwriter | Nov 07, 2020, 05:32 AM
  • it's supposed to be related to technology because thats what this whole section of the class is supposed to be about, its part of a larger paper that I will have to submit at the end of the semester so far I've written about how technology makes us more vulnerable towards mental health so i thought that a claim of cause could go well with that
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:34 AM
  • Exactly. This is workable. Then my claim would be "technology makes us more vulnerable towards mental health" is that okay with you?
    committedwriter | Nov 07, 2020, 05:37 AM
  • well it needs to be like a cause and effect claim like for example we are addicted to technology because of _______ and its effects would be
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:39 AM
  • this paper is supposed to be like 8 pages MLA style
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:39 AM
  • Thanks so much am good to go now. You will have in few hours time.
    committedwriter | Nov 07, 2020, 05:41 AM
  • few hours ? okay thank you, please try hard on this assignment is 150 points and it'll either boost me up or just destroy my grade
    User_26217 | Nov 07, 2020, 05:43 AM
