Introduction paragraph: Begin creativity and place thesis at the end of the introduction! Provide a strong thesis telling us if you are for or against the issue you are discussing!
Example Thesis: Cell phones should be allowed in college classrooms because they can help in emergency situations, are a tool for looking up unknown words and are great to have with you to write reminder notes on the phone calendar for classes!
Reason 1 paragraph plus evidence from sources (facts, statistics, graphs, expert quotes)
Example Reason 1 Paragraph: Cell phones should be allowed in college classrooms because they can help in emergency situations. Evidence: Police Chief Interview
Reason 2 paragraph plus evidence from sources (facts, statistics, graphs, expert quotes)
Example Reason 2 Paragraph: Cell phones should be allowed in college classrooms because they are a tool for looking up unknown words. Evidence: Webster’s Online Dictionary, Oxford Online Dictionary, Expert English professor quotes!
Reason 3 paragraph plus evidence from sources (facts, statistics, graphs, expert quotes)
Example Reason 3 Paragraph: Cell phones should be allowed in college classrooms because they are great to have with you to write reminder notes on the phone calendar for classes! Evidence: Quotes from makes of Apple phone calendars, EDUC teacher quotes about how helpful phones are in the classroom for being organized and help with time management.

Opposition paragraph 4: Address those who do not believe your view. Add sources (book, website, interview) from the other side and fight against them!
Example Opposition: Address those who do not believe cell phones should be in the classroom and fight against them!
Conclusion paragraph: Remind readers that you are for or against the issue! Tell you readers what they can do to help the issue! Leave you reader thinking at the end says, Howard and Barton! Make the conclusion powerful!
DO NOT USE I, WE, YOU, IN THIS PAPER BUT ASSERT YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE ISSUE!
You need 4 sources (books, websites, interviews, etc) in your paper! You need 7 in-text citations!
Make sure you include in-text citations following MLA format!
(author page) (Smith 5) or
Author says,......(page). Smith says,..... (2).
Create a Works Cited!
