  • this wrong class is chemistry 101a which was general college chemistry. I took chemistry 40 which was introduction of chemical principles class , and i passed it. But my counselor told me that i have to take one more chemistry class which was chemistry 101a. that class for chemical engineering major. So I could not drop the class, because it was too late to drop it. And I got F. I will able to delete chem 101a end the of fall,So my gpa will increase above 3.0 gpa.

  • Bro. I have just one thing to say before I add the mentioned things in the essay. If I say that your GPA went down because your counselor directed you to wrong class, then that will sound like a blame, and generally during admission process these things play an important role. So I was thinking that instead of blaming the counselor, I can simply say that "I took a wrong class as I did not do much research about that class which led to my GPA going down. However, I am covering up for the lost points, and at the end of fall 2014, I'll remove this class from the classes I took, after which my GPA will go above 3.0". Please confirm if this looks good to you. Else I'll mention about the counselor, but as I said, it might not go well in the admission process.
