Instruction
There is work breakdown structure attached to this assignment. The goal is to take the information in this work breakdown structure and create an excel table. In the excel table: 1. List all the activities that are in work breakdown and show logic of the work – ie, activity dependencies (your design). It should use the activities from the work breakdown , however the logic might be slightly different, (maybe Hardware requirement planning should be before software prototyping?). 2. The table should show estimate timings of all activities in the work breakdown; pessimistic, optimistic and most likely 3. Identify the critical path from your network and state the expected time for completion

  • As instructions state that logic of tasks should not mimic the work breakdown 1 to 1. For example, Hardware requirement planning should be before software prototyping? or some tasks may be done in parallel.

  • So, there are couple of things I would like you to change in the document. (1) You have only labelled "level two" (eg. A Project management, B Systems Engineering, C Software etc.) activities and have given them immediate predecessors. Could you please label all of the activities (e.g 3 Software, 3.1 Software engineering, 3.1.1 Software Requirement Specification)?. I can see there are some parallel activities (I believe that's what you've meant when merged the cells), however, for some reason non of the activities beside "level 2" ones haven't got immediate predecessors. Could you please work on that? As I mentioned there should be a connection between activities like maybe Hardware requirement planning should be done before software prototyping?
