A lecture series on campaigns and elections in Texas will be held in Austin. As a scholar, you have been selected to participate. Write the content of your lecture on campaigns and elections in Texas, including the following: (1) the types of elections held in Texas, (2) racial and ethnic variations in voter participation in Texas elections, (3) the features of election campaigns in Texas, and (4) campaign finance and electoral politics in Texas. 3. A conference on interest groups in Texas will be held on campus. You have been selected to present your research on Interest Groups in Texas Politics at the conference. Write an essay encompassing your research including the following: (1) types of interest groups active in Texas politics, (2) the resources and strategies of interest groups and lobbyists in Texas, (3) the role of Political Action Committees in Texas elections, and (4) challenges to ordinary individuals in influencing Texas politics.
