4 Paragraph Paper. Nation Vs. State? Due 12/9/20. Please write a brief 4 paragraph essay ( I would suggest writing in google Docs and cutting and pasting into the text box) that explains whether it is the national identity of a country (its culture, language, and traditions, etc.) or if it is the design and type of government a country has (the State) that is most responsible for explaining the success or failure of a country over time. More specifically how can we assess the relative importance or unimportance of the people - the Nation versus the government of the country they live in or the State? When writing your essay please provide at least three pieces of supporting data for your ideas and to meet the specific requirements (see below) of providing two types of evidence which should include: 1) Support based upon foreign constitutions, laws, and policies, and 2) Social Scientific evidence such as journal/newspaper articles, public opinion surveys, etc.
