Student Work Post the solution to (1) problem from each of the modules. So if there are three modules in the unit, you will post the solution to 3 problems. The problems are YOUR CHOICE, but make sure they are problems that challenge you, ones that you are not 100% sure about. Reviewer/Responder After posting your solutions each student is responsible for replying to at least one other student (Prompt 2, 3, 4) or explaining where you are getting stuck on of the problems (Prompt 1). Respond to one or more of the prompts below (must use at least 50 words for full credit). Keep in mind this is a chance to support each other in this very demanding process and give feedback that can be helpful to those reading the responses. Please make sure to use appropriate academic language and acknowledge that it is not easy for everyone to share - Be nice and fair. Prompt 1 - I need some help: After posting your solutions, please explain what you do not understand, where you get stuck, or how someone may help you out. Be specific so we can help you out. [Just saying you are stuck or do not understand is not enough]. This means you should be discussing a problem that you can start but not finish. Prompt 2 - I got your back: Reply to at least one other student. Please review their solutions and respond to one or both of the prompts below. Keep in mind this is a chance to support each other in this very demanding process and give feedback that can be helpful to those reading the responses. Please make sure to use appropriate mathematical language and acknowledge that it is not easy for everyone to share - Be nice and fair. a) Describe a mistake or misconception that you observe in the work and give guidance to your peer about how to better understand. b) Specifically answer their question to the best of your ability. Prompt 3 - Thank You: Explain to your peer what they did in their work that is helped you understand the problems your were having a problem with. Or describe how they solved a problem differently than you and what you learned from it. Prompt 4 - I still need help: After reviewing your peer's work, what question(s) do you still have about specific concept/skill that we were learning in this chapter. Try to explain what you know so far and where you get lost.
