Instruction
Typed, double spaced, two- three pages (500-750 words), 12 point font.
1. First Page: Compare (similarities) TWO artworks than have something(s), a thread, in common; it could be theme, style, era, the same artist, color scheme, similar movements, etc..
2. Second Page: Contrast (differences) Find the differences between the two artworks. It could be anything, style, era, artists, movements, beliefs (ideologies), technique...etc.
Most likely you will have to do a little research into the history or background of the artworks, this does not mean a license to copy or steal -- this is called stealing, thievery, it is illegal and is against School Policy, we call it plagiarism. You can get kicked out of class, school suspended and banned, not to mention possibly sued for copyright infringement -- especially if you use it to get a grade. Best to just think a little and write your own thoughts down. If you must use a sentence or phrase please use quotations and site your reference of where you got the information from.
You must right this in your OWN words, I will ONLY allow TWO quotes that is properly notated in an endnote. Anything else is plagiarism (stealing) and will not be allowed. Those who cut and paste and do not write in their own words will be asked to re-write and will be downgraded.
