Also, include information on why teachers are leaving the profession. Assignment 2:You're a first year teacher or have been assigned a new grade level/content area (reading, math, social studies, science), and you are thinking about planning for your first unit of teaching. What questions will you ask yourself as you begin to plan? Respond to two of your peers. (this is a discussion question it doesn't have to be lengthy) Assignment 3:Read Chapter 9 in its entirety, and develop a four page summary describing the difference between curriculum and instruction as explained within the chapter. Additionally, how curriculum in elementary and middle schools differ. Finally, in your summary- include key controversial issues in the curriculum as well as important concepts that were discussed in Chapter 9. Be sure to use APA format.
