For example, an article or op-ed in a popular magazine does not require the same level of detailed support that an academic article would. Still, it should be fair and carefully reasoned. Based on your criteria, how does the article hold up? What strengths and weaknesses do you find in the authors message? What other information might you need to make a fair assessment? Consider any counterarguments to what the author has said. Assess those as well. Summarize your conclusions. Your main source, of course, is the article you are reviewing.
