Instruction
Write an Autobiography of a segment of your life... the rest of the information follows.. This project involves writing an autobiography of one segment of your life (i.e., infancy, preschool, school years, adolescence) and interpreting your life by one of the theoretical perspectives in Chapter 1 (i.e., Psychoanalytic, Cognitive, Behavioral, Social Learning, Humanistic). Use your memories, written records of your life (i.e., baby books, diaries, report cards, and photo albums), and other persons (i.e., parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and neighbors). You should write between two and four pages of life events and another one or two pages of theoretical interpretation. Include both the broad picture of your development and some specific examples. The goal of this exercise to show that you have good understanding of one of the theoretical perspectives found in psychology. It is an opportunity to put on a clinicians hat. A chance to evaluate your life as one of the theorist might have, if they had been studying your life experiences. I expect the document to be of professional quality. Be sure to write in a clear and concise fashion. . Your paper will be from 3 to 6 pages in length, doubled spaced, font set at 14. Be sure to put your name on the cover page or on the first page of your document ( since this has to be about me, it needs written from a males perspective)
