Avoid a lengthy introduction/rephrasing the question (this is not a term paper – get to the point) or the use of rhetorical questions to pad your response. You MUST answer all the questions in the prompt. (Prompt #4 - Accountability) Review the text of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2020 Choose 3 of the proposed reforms in the bill Discuss how these proposals will improve accountability Relate this discussion to the module readings. Then discuss the pitfalls of implementing these reforms if the legislation passes Senate Finally, discuss what you think will need to be altered to get any of the act to pass Senate (regardless of whether it should or should not be changed - this is politics in play).
