1. (25 Points 1-2 page) Social Identity Theory - Explain how the ideas or principles of Social Identity Theory can enhance group performance. Be specific. 2. (25 Points 1-2 page) When forming groups why is establishing appropriate norms critical to team success? Bring in the idea of scripts/Social Identity Theory or other perspectives to answer the question. 3. (25 Points 1-2 page) Effective teams have psychological safety – How does psychological safety improve team performance? Bring in aspects of Social Identity Theory to your answers or any other perspective. Use the Big Five Personality traits to answer this question. Refer to the papers from class, however, I expect you to dig deeper into the subject matter. Do some research and I would expect you to have 1-2 additional sources referenced in your answers. 4. (25 Points 1-2 pages) How are the Big Five personality traits related to leadership? Are all of them or some of them related? Give the mechanisms of actions – Don’t just say they are related explain HOW they are related. You can take 1 of the Big Five and answer the question.
