Instruction

Rent a violent action movie. After viewing the movie, write an essay in which you discuss your responses to the violence portrayed in the movie. How do you feel children, teenagers, adults would respond to the movie? What do you feel the effects of such violence are? How do your reactions support your point about the role of violence in the media on the lives of people?

As you write your own essay, work in details and examples. Make sure you have a strong point to make and obvious details and examples from your own life to convince the reader of your point of view and stance on this particular issue.

All of the examples you will use in this essay need to come from your own life or be situations you have witnessed. I do not want you to use any external sources in this essay. We will begin working with sources in the next unit. At this point in the course, I want you to develop a sense of argumentation without being bogged down with citations, works cited pages, etc.
Paper format: MLA
Deadline: 14 days

The attached worksheet needs completed as well, it is all questions about the essay, example: the topic and thesis, ect. I would prefer this essay done over "Crank" or "Four brothers" b/c I am very aware of those movies so I could continue the convo with teacher and other students. This is for a College English Comp 2 so make it college level plz (I had someone do an essay and I got a D) also it needs to be MLA format. Again, I will be putting money on today or tomorrow, I should get paid this afternoon. So, If you'd like, you can start this essay and I will get you assigned right after I upload the cash this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon at the latest.
